Providing Opportunities to Be Heard. Local “rising 9th graders” in the Supporting Our Leaders (SOL) Program this summer worked with journalist, Federico Martinez, to develop, write, edit and publish stories of importance to them on an online website as part of the Believe 2 Become initiative of the Douglas and Maria DeVos Foundation to stop summer learning loss. Privacy
Any personal information you provide to us on our website when you register or make a purchase, (i.e. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card information) is maintained in private files on our secure Web server and our internal systems. Your personal information will not be shared with anyone. We will not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone.

SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than The Hispanic Center of Western Michigan. Once you enter the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. You can tell that you are in secure mode by the following:
1. The "http" in the web address will be replaced by "https"
2. Depending on the browser, you may see either a padlock or a solid key in the lower section for the browser window.
Only browsers that use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer technology are able to order through the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan site. If your browser does not support SSL, you can get an upgrade at your browser's home page.
